What a beautiful place to stay, Sue n her team do a fantastic job keeping this place immaculate. The rooms have everything n it’s so peaceful n super close to the beach. I highly recommend this place to all from singles to family as this place has it all. Thanks Sue for 2 magical days n I can’t wait to come back. Cheers Mac

My extended family, friends, and I recently stayed at Smugglers on the Beach in Coffs Harbour and we had a fantastic experience. I’ve stayed in five-star resorts in the area before, but Smugglers was just as good and, in some ways, even better. We stayed in Unit 18, a modern and beautifully presented 3 bedroom apartment. It was spacious, fresh, and thoughtfully decorated with lush carpet, stylish wall art, and a large wall-mounted TV. The overall feel was warm and inviting something that really makes a difference on holiday. We especially loved the private balcony overlooking peaceful bush land with glimpses of the ocean. The complex itself is quiet, well maintained, and family-friendly, with a lovely BBQ area and a clean pool. While the water was a bit cold (as expected in winter), the pool area was still a great place to soak up the sun. The only slight downside was that some of our friends stayed in another unit in the same complex that felt a bit dated in comparison, not nearly as modern or upgraded as Unit 18 which felt like a 5-star apartment. Overall, Smugglers on the Beach is in a fantastic location , just a short stroll to a quiet beach eg like 20 meters!!! and only minutes from Coffs Harbour. I’d absolutely stay here again, especially in Unit 18.

What a lovely little place. Less than 100m and you're on the beach. There has been considerable loss of sand in the recent storm, but it's still really nice. The rooms are very comfortable, the showers are incredibly powerful, the pool is small but serene, and there's even a free laundry (bring your own powder). Highly recommended.

Loved staying in Apartment 11 with covered terrace and BBQ overlooking pool. So close to the beach to hear the waves and enjoy beach walks, including great coffee from coffee cart at beach carpark most mornings. Pool was nice. The apartment and complex were kept so clean and tidy. Really enjoyed our stay here.

We just spent a week at Smugglers and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean with great beds. Will definitely be back!

Everything went to plan when we stayed. Service was good but low key, and it felt like a great balance. The pool was perfectly maintained. There was adequate facilities to do all the washing that is needed for a family on holiday. Right next to a beach. Recommended, even if it's not brand new and spotless.

This is Joseph’s wife here, I had to write this review and it will be a bit long one. I’m a clean freak and if you are one, book this place right now. It is not a fancy luxury resort but almost as clean as my house. It is our 4th day here and I’m not an easy to please person and I couldn’t find even one reason to complain. We staying in room 10 and light grey couches in the room look brand new. Any hotel we go, I have to clean inside of the drawers before I put our clothes but first time I didn’t need to. It may sound funny but even between the grouts in the shower is white as. Old style oven and stove top, microwave in the kitchen are all super clean as brand new. I have called them before we come and mentioned that both of my kids have skin problems and wanted to make sure room doesn’t have mould or dust and upon our arrival, Sue mentioned that they have not used harsh chemicals to clean the room which was very nice and a relief to hear. I also would like to highlight the bbq area and outside kitchen being surprisingly clean every single day and also laundry had high quality washing machines and open to use like your own house. Thank you Sue and Peter. This is our first time but we will be coming back.

Definitely the best little hotel in central NSW coast. Jo and her husband is doing an amazing job keeping the grounds nice and tidy. Rooms are immaculate and spacious. They have all the essentials in the kitchen. White sheets and towels are spotless. Proximity to the beach is great.
